Official Moose Capital Adopts Official Moose Mascot!
JOIN US AT THE ANNUAL LABOR DAY BRIDGE WALK!
Moe the Mighty Moose will be walking across the Mighty Mackinac Bridge for the annual walk! It's going to be the first time that a moose ever crossed the bridge! Moe joined the Save Newberry Team Officially on Aug 30th, 2005. We invite you to join us at 6 PM at North Side of the Bridge - just look for the SAVE NEWBERY BALLOONS! We will be there bright and early. It will be a very great morning!

| Governor Granholm at the Press Conference in Lansing showed strong support for the Newberry Correctional Facility, Camp Manistique, the Save Newberry Committee, U.P. at Risk, and the entire U.P.! Commenting on the proposed closure of the Newberry Facility Granholm stated firmly,"If they (the Republican Budget) pass it, I will veto it!" |
